Konnan Is Excited For AEW Dynasty 2025 Match, Adam Devine Talks AEW Appearance

Konnan recently shared his enthusiasm for the forthcoming title match at AEW Dynasty 2025, featuring players Kenny Omega, Ricochet and Mike Bailey.

On the latest installment of his podcast “Keepin’ It 100”, the booker of AAA disclosed his anticipation towards the trio’s performance in the Sunday pay-per-view event.

Below are a few standout moments from the podcast:

Konnan’s thoughts on why Tony Khan arranged for a triple-threat match instead of a singles competition: “Tony Khan is after a memorable match, and there’s no doubt that Bailey, Ricochet and Omega will deliver it. Especially after seeing Bailey’s incredible matches at TNA Impact.”

Konnan’s opinion on it being a triple threat instead of just Omega versus Ricochet: “I’m not bothered. I am confident it will be a fascinating match, whether it’s Omega facing Ricochet or the trio battle.”

Adam Devine made an unexpected appearance at the AEW Revolution 2025 event, delivering a chokeslam on Mansoor accompanied by Tony Cavalero. This act was part of the promotion for The Righteous Gemstones, a show that airs on Max. Devine later revealed his desire for Workaholics co-star Blake Anderson to also join the wrestling action. This topic resurfaced during the “This Is Important” podcast featuring Devine, Anderson, and Anders Holm.

The dialogue has been captured in a transcript below:

Adam: “It wasn’t a dream of mine to be on AEW, although I did find it super enjoyable. That said, I did wish Blake and Kyle were there, especially since this seems to be at the top of their bucket list.”

Anders: “While it wasn’t your dream, it seemed to be a perfect match for their bucket list.”

Blake: “Being able to spraypaint NWO on someone’s back after a joint chokeslam, that is the kind of thrill I live for!”

Adam: “While it was an unforgettable moment, I wouldn’t necessarily say it was worth ending my life over.”
