In the most recent episode of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Konnan, an ex-professional wrestler for both WCW and WWE, took a moment to applaud All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for their new agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery for the media rights.
Konnan was quoted saying, “Congratulations on getting 3 more years. Obviously, that will never, ever be printed, [I] dare anyone to. We don’t want you to get cancelled, we just want to see the program improve by portraying who these Japanese and Mexican wrestlers are.”
Surprisingly, Konnan’s words are now in print!
As reported earlier, AEW Dynamite will continue its run on TBS and AEW Collision will remain retained on TNT for a minimum of three more years. Aside from these, AEW’s pay-per-view events will also be available on HBO MAX at a lesser cost, effective from next year.
