Konnan – ‘CM Punk Needs To Turn Heel’

On the latest edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, AAA booker Konnan discussed how AEW fans are starting to sour on CM Punk, noting that it might be time for the former AEW World Champion to turn heel. K-Dogg said,

“Listen to the people, you’re not that likable. You’re more likable as a heel. You’re a heel. You’re naturally a heel.

People are basically telling [Punk] ‘Turn,’ which I like. Could you imagine…if they put MJF and Punk as a heel tag team?”

Punk doesn’t have a matchup scheduled for AEW All In 2023 as of yet although he is carrying around his ‘Real’ AEW Title Title and calling himself the undefeated champion.
