Kofi Kingston Beats Shelton Benjamin, Loses To Cedric Alexander In Back-To-Back Matches

The WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, the New Day continued their rivalry with The Hurt Business this week.Kofi Kingston faced Shelton Benjamin in a singles match. The veterans demonstrated their in-ring expertise throughout the bout. Kingston gained momentum with a flurry of offense, but Benjamin floored him with a powerbomb. He locked in a nasty ankle lock, but Kingston reached the ropes. Benjamin displayed his impressive athleticism, but Kingston won the match with Trouble in Paradise.

After the bout, Cedric Alexander challenged Kingston to a match, and he accepted. Alexander took control early on by attacking Kingston’s leg. Alexander grounded Kingston, but the former WWE Champion rallied. A spinning Brainbuster earned Alexander a near fall, but he couldn’t put Kingston away. But in the end, Alexander pinned Kingston with a Lumbar Check.
