Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford Address Possible Feud With Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo

Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford and Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo are the two couples in AEW that appear to be mirror images of each other. Both couples portray heel characteristics and are determined to do whatever it takes to clinch a victory and achieve their goals.

During a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, Sabian and Ford addressed a potential feud with the Jericho Appreciation Society couple in the near future. Ford referred to the Guevara-Melo duo as their “carbon copy” to which Sabian agreed and stated,

“Of course. Why wouldn’t we? Let’s get down to brass tacks here, let’s be brutally honest. They are basically doing the characters that we did prior to my injury. Let’s be serious.”

“Of course there’s room for it. But it depends whether they want the heat, whether they want the smoke. I mean technically, Sammy’s never beaten me. But I beat him. First-ever match, no one’s taking that from me. I’m gonna die on that hill [laughs].”
