The trial for Kimber Lee, who is facing charges related to a DUI arrest, is set to commence in February as reported by Pwinsider. Earlier information was that a hearing in Lee’s case had been moved from September to October 19.

The report states that her trial is slated to begin on the 10th of February at 8:30 PM ET at Highlands County Court, and selection for the jury will also be carried out on this day. The charges against Lee include DUI, resisting a law enforcement officer with aggression and battery. The incident leading to these charges took place on 11th May 2023.

The hearing planned for last month was later rescheduled to May 22. Notably, Lee had announced her retirement from her wrestling career on May 6, just a few days before her arrest.

Pwinsider also records that Lee has made the choice to waive her right to be present at the hearing, and it is not expected that she will attend.

According to the official police report, an officer spotted a grey Kia Soul, driven by Lee, stopped facing the wrong direction on the U.S. 27 at 4:54 PM EST. The vehicle moved and almost collided with a guard rail before turning into a shopping center parking lot where it eventually stopped.

Lee was reported to have bloodshot, watery eyes and her speech was slurred. The officer recalled that she kept forgetting why she was being pulled over, asking him repeatedly. Several attempts were made to obtain her driver’s license, and she attempted to leave the scene multiple times.

When the officer tried to place handcuffs on Lee, she allegedly resisted and lashed out at him, leading to her arrest for battery on a law enforcement officer. The report alleges that Lee kicked the officer, injuring him in the process. After her detainment, she was taken to the Highlands County Jail by the Sebring, Florida Police Department.

Following treatment for his injuries, the officer requested Lee take a breathalyzer test at the hospital. The test, administered five hours after her initial arrest, registered a 0.14 blood alcohol content, exceeding Florida’s legal limit of 0.08.

Lee allegedly refused to provide a second sample, and reportedly failed to “give a sample on purpose”. She pleaded not guilty to all of the charges on July 7, 2023. Just a reminder, she had announced her exit from wrestling on May 6, a few days preceding the arrest.
