On Wednesday, April 17, Kimber Lee was scheduled for preliminary proceedings regarding her DUI case at the County Court in Highlands, Florida. She is facing allegations of driving under the influence, violently resisting arrest, and battery, originating from her apprehension on May 11, 2023.
The court hearing which was initially marked for a previous month, is now set to occur on Wednesday, May 22. Five days ahead of her arrest, on May 6, Lee declared her retirement from the wrestling profession.
It was previously highlighted by eWn that Nick Hogan encountered a similar situation back in November when he was arrested in Clearwater, Florida, accused of a minor DUI. The incident occurred post attending a bikini contest at his parent’s tavern and restaurant. Hogan was charged with a minor DUI. He entered a plea of not guilty in response to these charges.
Hogan’s preliminary proceedings were slated for Friday, May 10, and another pre-trial is planned for June. It appears that Hogan’s criminal prosecution is advancing. In January, Hogan renounced his right to a rapid trial. The hearing that was originally slotted for January 17 ended up being deferred to Friday.
