Wrestler KiLynn King has been absent from the squared circle since last year, suffering from a knee injury that has kept her out of 2024 competitions.
During a recent episode of the “Battleground” podcast, TNA veteran Gail Kim shared her eagerness for King’s anticipated return to the wrestling scene, suggesting that the hiatus would only make King come back with more vigor.
Kim expounded, “For instance, we’ve had KiLynn King sitting out the entire year due to her injury and it fills me with anticipation — She was poised to be the crowned jewel of TNA, not just among the women’s division but also the men’s, the breakout talent to keep an eye on this year. It’s unfortunate that she sustained her injury towards the end of the previous year. I understand that she must be highly motivated at home right now. From my own experience, it’s frustrating to sit on the sidelines while others are doing what you love. It stirs up a feeling of increasing hunger and eagerness, which tremendously contributed to my growth, and I foresee the same for her. I’m convinced KiLynn stands a good chance. I eagerly look forward to what she’ll bring to the table when she returns. Will her moves be a bit rusty initially? Possibly, but I’m ready to cut her some slack. I’m adamant that she’s going to bounce back strong and demolish her competition.”
