TNA Wrestling’s star, Killer Kelly, is the latest among a string of talents expressing interest in engaging in the ongoing NXT collaboration.
In the past few months, several entertainers from both TNA and NXT have boldly entered the ‘forbidden portal’. This list includes names such as Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, The Rascalz, and the No Quarter Catch Crew.
Talking to the Pro Wrestling Times, Kelly expressed her eagerness to surface in WWE NXT and delve into her past engagements with the franchise. She stated,
“Absolutely, I’m keen on crossing over. Naturally. I’ve been playfully suggesting it with my friend, Tatum [Paxley]. Of course. What’s unfolding today is fascinating. It’s history in the making. They will keep referring back to this moment for years to come, you know, discussing how TNA intermingled with WWE. The exchange of talents. That’s amazing.
“Naturally, I would like to be a part of this development. It goes without saying that TNA will remain my primary dedication. However, re-visiting NXT, the place where Killer Kelly’s journey initially began, is poetic. It’s genuinely thrilling. As soon as I obtain medical clearance to wrestle again, I am keen on being an active part of it.”
Kelly set foot in WWE back in 2018, as she participated in a triple threat match to identify the number one contender for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. She pursued the opportunity later that year to compete in the Mae Young Classic but faced a defeat to Meiko Satomura in the inaugural round. The wrestling entity based in Portugal opted to let her go in January 2020.
