Kevin Von Erich has revealed that his sons, Ross and Marshall, are currently amidst contract negotiations. This information was divulged during AEW Collision’s Saturday night episode, where Kevin, Ross, and Marshall made an appearance alongside Dustin Rhodes.
In conversation with “Third League Radio”, Kevin spoke about several topics including Ross and Marshall’s appearances on AEW, their contributions to the family legacy in wrestling, and more.
Here are some highlights from the podcast:
Discussing Ross and Marshall’s involvement with AEW, Kevin shared, “There’s an upcoming show for AEW, a fresh wrestling company that’s setting the trend. My boys are fond of it. I support all the enterprises like WWE, AEW, plus all the emergent companies, hoping they all flourish. But, I feel rather strongly about AEW in particular. These guys are astute, clever, and well-seasoned. They definitely know their craft, and I like the vibe of it. So we’re definitely excited.”
Speaking on his sons continuing the family legacy, he said, “It’s quite surreal. Their preliminary matches had me rather emotional. I was thinking, ‘What’s going on with me?’ It’s truly significant. I adore those lads immensely. I’m profoundly proud of them. Watching them wrestle is breathtaking. It kind of thrills me.”
When asked about the possibility of his sons appearing at ROH Death Before Dishonor, Kevin responded, “I’m unsure of what I’m authorised to disclose. I know they’re presently discussing terms with various people. I’m aware that it’s an excellent day and great days lie ahead. I’m really fond of AEW’s attitude and their approach, and their catering is commendable as well [laughs]. WWE is good too, no arguments there, but I’m kind of partial to AEW at the moment. But the final decision lies with the boys, so we’ll have to wait and see. We’ll get to know soon.”
