Fans could see two Roman Reigns matches over the two nights of WrestleMania 40 if WWE goes ahead with Kevin Sullivan’s proposed idea.

On a recent edition of his “Tuesday with the Taskmaster” podcast, Sullivan gave a potential fix for WWE over whether Cody Rhodes or The Rock should challenge Reigns. He said,

“Here’s the thing: you could have Rock and Roman, and not for the title, but for the ‘Head of the Table’ [on the Saturday night]. He goes over, Rock goes over, some kind of fluke finish because they just paid him $30 million to sit his a** on the board … Then you can have Cody interfere in that finish. The Usos … And then have Cody and Roman the second night for the title.”

On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, The Rock returned and teased challenging Reigns after Cody Rhodes stepped aside despite previously seeking a rematch with the Tribal Chief.

This creative decision has led to a massive backlash from fans. A press conference featuring Rhodes, The Rock, and Reigns will take place later today.

Fans of professional wrestling may be in for a treat at WrestleMania 40, as there is a possibility that they could witness not one, but two Roman Reigns matches over the course of the two-night event. This exciting prospect comes from a proposed idea by Kevin Sullivan, which has been generating quite a buzz among wrestling enthusiasts.

During a recent episode of his podcast, “Tuesday with the Taskmaster,” Sullivan shared his thoughts on how WWE could address the dilemma of choosing between Cody Rhodes and The Rock as Reigns’ challenger. He suggested a unique solution that would involve both superstars in separate matches against the Tribal Chief.

Sullivan’s idea revolves around having Reigns face off against The Rock on the first night of WrestleMania, not for the championship, but for the coveted title of “Head of the Table.” The match would end in a fluke finish, with Rock emerging victorious due to some unexpected turn of events. Sullivan humorously added that this outcome would justify the hefty sum of $30 million that was reportedly paid to The Rock for his involvement in the event.

Following this intriguing encounter, Cody Rhodes would interfere in the finish, setting up a storyline for the second night of WrestleMania. The Usos, who are Reigns’ cousins and allies, would also play a role in this narrative. Ultimately, this would lead to a highly anticipated clash between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the championship on the second night.

The recent episode of WWE SmackDown saw The Rock make a surprise return and tease a potential match against Reigns. However, Cody Rhodes stepped aside despite previously expressing his desire for a rematch with the Tribal Chief. This creative decision has sparked a significant backlash from fans who were eagerly anticipating a showdown between Rhodes and Reigns.

To address the growing anticipation and fan backlash, WWE has scheduled a press conference featuring Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and Roman Reigns. This event aims to shed light on the upcoming plans for WrestleMania 40 and provide fans with some much-needed clarity regarding the potential matches.

If WWE decides to go ahead with Kevin Sullivan’s proposed idea, it would undoubtedly create a unique and captivating experience for fans. The prospect of witnessing two high-profile matches involving Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock is sure to generate immense excitement and anticipation among wrestling enthusiasts.

As WrestleMania 40 approaches, fans eagerly await further updates and announcements from WWE regarding the final card and match lineup. Whether or not the proposed idea becomes a reality, one thing is certain – this year’s WrestleMania is shaping up to be an event that fans won’t want to miss.
