On a recent edition of his “Tuesday with The Taskmaster” podcast, former WCW booker Kevin Sullivan discussed a hypothetical scenario of AEW World Champion MJF signing with WWE.

“[MJF] is not going to be the be-all to end all. All the people in front of him, all the great performers. If he was off of TV for two weeks, would that many people forget about him? After the third week that he was off TV, would [fans] be demanding that he be on TV? I mean, they’re so stacked.”

MJF’s AEW contract ends at the start of the new year, which means he will become a free agent soon.

However, according to recent rumors, MJF already re-signed with AEW through 2027.

Former WCW booker Kevin Sullivan recently discussed the hypothetical scenario of AEW World Champion MJF signing with WWE on his podcast, “Tuesday with The Taskmaster.” Sullivan predicted that if MJF were to join WWE, he would struggle to stand out among the talented roster and fail to become the company’s top star.

Sullivan pointed out that WWE’s roster is stacked with great performers, and MJF would have a tough time competing with them. He questioned whether fans would forget about MJF if he was off TV for a couple of weeks and whether they would demand his return after a few more weeks. According to Sullivan, the competition within WWE would make it difficult for MJF to become the “be-all to end-all” for the company.

However, despite the speculation, MJF’s AEW contract is set to expire at the beginning of the new year. There have been rumors suggesting that he has already re-signed with AEW through 2027. This would mean that MJF will continue to be a prominent figure in AEW and won’t be making a move to WWE anytime soon.

It’s important to note that these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt until official announcements are made by either MJF or AEW. Wrestling fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for MJF and whether he decides to stay with AEW or explore other opportunities.
