Kevin Patrick has been released from WWE, Pwinsider reports, mere days after he was pulled from SmackDown’s commentary team.
The Irish broadcaster has been replaced by Michael Cole on the blue brand, who will be calling the action with Corey Graves going forward.
A WWE source said that Patrick simply wasn’t working out in the role on SmackDown. Despite this, he was said to be well-liked among those in the company.
Patrick had also commentated for WWE on Monday Night RAW before his exit today. He was also the co-host of the ‘After the Bell’ podcast with Graves.
