Kevin Patrick is no longer part of the WWE SmackDown announce team.

In August of last year, WWE announced that Michael Cole and Wade Barrett would be the commentators for Raw. However, things took a different turn as Cole continued his duties on SmackDown and was joined by Patrick and Corey Graves. This change happened after Patrick and Graves had already worked together for the Raw brand, while Cole and Barrett were paired up on SmackDown.

WWE had high hopes for Patrick and believed working alongside Cole would help him grow as a broadcaster. As the new year started, the teams were rearranged to have two-man booths, which ultimately led to Cole no longer being a part of SmackDown.

According to Dave Meltzer, who spoke on Wrestling Observer Radio, Patrick is no longer the main announcer for SmackDown. It’s still uncertain who will take his place.
