Kevin Owens Upset With RAW Drafting Him, Says WWE Didn’t Use His Interview
Kevin Owens was one of the many superstars that will be switching brands, when he was drafted by Monday Night RAW during the latest episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. After Owens was selected in the third round of the draft, the superstar reportedly gave an interview to WWE that was never used, Owens said on social media.
In a tweet made earlier this morning, Owens said that he gave an “honest” and “heartfelt” answer to the question of what it meant to be drafted by Monday Night RAW. According to Owens, WWE decided not to use the footage because he was angry, and according to Owens, he was and still is angry. Owens’ anger seems to stem from the fact that he was taken in the third round, and didn’t go higher.
Owens finished things by saying he still has lots to prove, and this draft will apparently put an entirely new chip on the shoulder of Owens.
Last night, the @WWE digital team asked me for my thoughts after I was drafted to #Raw.
I gave them a very honest, heartfelt answer. They decided not to post the footage because I appeared to be angry.
I was angry. I still am.
Round 3…
Looks like I still have lots to prove.
