Kevin Owens has won just about every singles title there is to win in WWE but he has never been a WWE Tag Team Champion. Now, Kevin says he is open to changing that and doing so with an old friend.
In a new Q&A session with WWE Now India, Kevin Owens was asked about becoming WWE Tag Team Champions with his old friend-turned-foe-turned-friend, Sami Zayn. Kevin noted that they have a history as tag team champions, the pair were champions in Ring of Honor when Sami was under the mask of El Generico, and it would mean a lot to him to win the titles with Sami Zayn although he would be open to winning the Tag Team Championship with anybody.
“I would love to be Tag Team Champions, with anybody really, but Sami would be, you know, obviously a bit more special than anyone else because of the history we’ve had and like he mentioned we’ve been Tag Team Champions before, so that would be great. I would be absolutely open to that for sure,” said Owens.
