In a recent episode of WWE’s “The Bump”, Kevin Owens discussed about the effective leadership qualities of Randy Orton behind the scenes. According to Owens, Orton is the perfect example of an experienced wrestling veteran.

During the discussion on pairing up with Orton at WWE Backlash: France, Owens had this to say,

“The most profound part for me was actually witnessing the love and admiration everyone showered upon Randy [Orton]. Randy is someone I’ve admired for so long, from before I even joined WWE as a would-be wrestler. Once I joined, he became the epitome of what a veteran should represent, a role model in the locker room everyone looks up to. Despite his imperfect past, he accepts his mistakes with grace. His natural trait of leadership shows even without him asserting that position. His contribution to the game is undervalued, despite the love he already gets. The way the spectators embraced him was heartwarming. It was quite an emotional moment for me, watching him come out before the match. The response from the fans, their recognition of him, was truly memorable.”

Bobby Lashley and Carmelo Hayes have recently started a verbal duel on social media. The skirmish amplified when Lashley criticized Melo for not respecting veterans.

On appearing on “The Masked Man Show,” Hayes expressed his doubts about Lashley and suggested that the main team has become comfortable over the years. He expressed,

“It’s not just about Bobby. Many guys on the main roster have been comfortable for a long time. They have been earning high for a long time. When someone like me comes in, I bring a different energy. I may not have the accolades Bobby has, but I don’t come in quietly or timidly; I make my presence felt strongly. I am here to disrupt the comfort and make everyone aware of me as a threat. I am not scared of anyone up there. That’s why I challenged Cody Rhodes on my first night because, why can’t it be me? So, Bobby will experience whatever he’ll experience.”

Hayes got promoted to the main roster after being drafted to WWE SmackDown recently.
