Kevin Owens Open To Another Goldberg Match ‘If He’s Here To Work’

Kevin Owens recently sat down and took part in an interview with Metro, where he spoke about the possibility of facing off against WWE legend Goldberg. According to Owens, he might be open to another match, so long as Goldberg is ready and willing to participate in putting on a quality match.
When asked about the possibility of wrestling Goldberg – who he lost his Universel title to in their previous match – again, Owens expressed a willingness to do it if things are treated right. “I’d love to work with him again if he was here to work. I’m not saying this is his fault, but he’s not – his career has never been about long matches or anything like that,” he said. “To me, I don’t see much positive out of wrestling him for two minutes, or 20 seconds or 30 seconds or whatever, you know what I mean? I’d love to work with him again if you got to do a story beyond – all we did was, what, two weeks, maybe three weeks? If we got to do some cool stuff, and some cool promos, exchange back and forth, and then have a quality match, that’d be great. But that’s just not usually what he’s here for.”
From the sounds of it, it seems like Owens is more than willing to compete against Goldberg once again, but wasn’t too happy about how things were handled last time they got in the ring. With a deeper story and more involvement from both superstars, a match between the two could do wonders, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s something WWE tries to accomplish.
