Pro wrestler Kevin Owens did not mince words when sharing his view on Logan Paul, whom he perceives as being disconnected from the real-life experiences of full-time professional wrestlers.
Paul has entered the wrestling ring 15 times since kicking off his in-ring career in the Spring of 2022, with the latest encounter at WWE SummerSlam in August.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Owens discussed his opponent from this year’s Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40 pay-per-view shows. He commented,
“I don’t believe this guy, he’s not living in the real world. It seems like this world isn’t real to him. You see what I’m saying. He gets to do exciting things, like performing at WrestleMania, a massive event that we all dream to be part of for our entire careers and he just shows up at WrestleMania and SummerSlams in the stadiums. If you want to get my respect, come to a live show in some random place in Alabama. But I’m confident that all this means nothing to him.”
Recent statements by Paul suggest that he is ‘retired’ from wrestling after becoming a father this year, yet many fans are skeptical that his departure from the ring is permanent.
Owens is set to vie against reigning WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes in tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Uniondale, New York.
