Owens was “suspended” two weeks ago for violating SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis’ order and attacking Austin Theory and Grayson Waller while on commentary.
Friday’s show saw Owens appear as a scheduled guest on The Grayson Waller Effect, which turned out to be Theory in Owens cosplay.
Owens then came out and announced that his suspension had been lifted, which led to a tag team match. Owens joined LA Knight to defeat Waller and Theory.

Ridge Holland has apparently walked away from his association with Butch, abandoning his fellow Brawling Brute stablemate on Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
