Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been going through a bit of a bumpy rivalry as of late, after Zayn’s surprising assault on Owens two weeks ago. With the two set to face off at WrestleMania 37, Owens is hoping he can use the match to bring back the old Zayn he once knew.
Speaking during the latest episode of WWE’s Talking Smack, Owens spoke about the history of both superstars, and that them facing off against one another at WrestleMania meant a lot to both of their careers. Owens went on to say that the two are more like brothers than friends, and that’s why it hurts him to see what Zayn is doing nowadays.
He said that the “alternate reality” that Zayn is currently living in has forced him to no longer be the superstar he once was, and that at WrestleMania he’ll have to knock some sense into his brother, since he couldn’t talk some into him.
