On a recent edition of WWE’s “The Bump,” former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley shared his views on the growing issues with newly drafted SmackDown Superstar Carmelo Hayes.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Carmelo Hayes: “I was gonna say something nice about this kid, but now I just want to go beat his a*s. We have all these guys that come up to the main roster and all they want to do is start talking trash.”

On how younger athletes need to respect those who blazed a trail for them: “These guys need to start getting checked, and they need to start understanding that this business is a business about respect. When you come up here, you respect the people that you want to compete against. … If you beat them, kudos to you — keep going. But there needs to be a level of respect, and we’ve lost that in this business.”

During the same episode, Kevin Owens discussed his experience of teaming up with Randy Orton against The Bloodline at WWE Backlash: France.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On teaming with Randy Orton against The Bloodline: “If I’m going to team with anybody against those guys, Randy Orton’s the best pick I can think of, and…beyond the fact that I need somebody like Randy to be in a match against those guys, just getting to team with Randy at all is something so amazing to me, the chance I have to get to have him as my partner for anything. So that made Saturday extra special.”

On their loss at WWE Backlash France: “It’s really bothering me. I don’t really let things bother me. I’ve been pretty good about taking things in stride in this industry because you never know what’s around the corner. But this one is eating away at me, if I’ve got to be honest.”
