Kevin Nash Reacts To Seth Rollins-CM Punk Steel Cage Match Finish – ‘What The F**k?’

Maven recently shared thoughts on his new finishing move that he debuted before his WWE career ended, in a video posted to his YouTube account. He stated,

“I finally found the perfect finisher that would work for most of my opponents and seemed completely devastating – it was truly a legitimate finishing move. Ironically, I was jobless two weeks later, and that move was the Implosion, otherwise known as the Backstabber, a move that Carlito later popularized. Prior to this, I was using a modified version of a Missile Dropkick because it was a move that was part of every match I was in, so it just came naturally. However, if you can pull off a great Dropkick, then an even better Missile Dropkick could be devastating. Despite this, it didn’t feel like a finisher and the audience didn’t perceive it as one either. The crowd needs to believe in a move that can potentially end the match, and the Missile Dropkick wasn’t that move. On the other hand, when I launched the Implosion or Backstabber for the first time, there was a noticeable gasp from the crowd. That’s why I really wished for a longer stint to get this move on everyone’s mind and establish it as my signature move.”

Kevin Nash also dove into a critique of the recent Steel Cage Match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk on his “Kliq This” podcast’s latest instalment. He addressed Reigns’ interference and subsequent attacks on Rollins and Punk during the match.

Nash questioned, “How the hell did Paul Heyman magically appear in the center of the ring? Roman had [Rollins] in control, I thought, ‘He’s going to perform a Curb Stomp.’ Yet, when I look around, there’s Paul Heyman fighting with Punk in the ring. What the hell was that all about? “

WWE WrestleMania 41 will feature a showdown between CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns confined to a Triple Threat Match.
