Kevin Nash recently took to his “Kliq This” podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including Brian Pillman Jr. recently making his WWE debut on the NXT brand.
Additionally, the WWE Hall of Famer noted that he doesn’t understand why Enzo “nZo” Amore can’t get hired anywhere.
Nash said, “He [Brian Pillman Jr.] signed with NXT, yes. I was friends with his father, we ran up and down the road together. He’s a good talent. I think he wrestled Enzo, yeah him and Enzo had a hell of a match. I don’t understand why Enzo can’t get hired someplace. I’m really surprised that he can’t get hired someplace. I know he, you know, at the beginning got some s**t, but… ”
For what it’s worth, Amore was fired from WWE after sexual assault allegations were made against him in 2018. The sexual assault case wound up being closed due to insufficient evidence.
Additionally, there were other issues with Enzo having backstage heat for not agreeing to do what was asked of him, as well as having a massive ego. This is the same reason he was released from MLW earlier this year.
