AEW Collision is set to premiere this weekend, but CM Punk can’t be blamed for some lackluster ticket sales.

While expectations are high for this Saturday’s show, upcoming episodes of Collision have reportedly not sold as well as expected.

During his “Kliq This” Kevin Nash argued that criticizing Punk got some of the Collision ticket sales is unfair. He said,

“They’re throwing Phil under the bus like ‘Oh, he can’t draw.’ It’s not like he’s costing you ticket sales.”

Nash added that he was always sure Punk would return to AEW TV and gave his prediction for Collision. He said,

“Never for one moment did I ever think he wasn’t going to show up… I think it might do well. It’s summertime, though.”

CM Punk will team with FTR to face Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe on this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.
