In a recent episode of the “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash along with his partner in conversation, Sean Oliver, revisited the notorious Montreal Screwjob that transpired at the WWE Survivor Series in 1997.

Nash expressed a degree of doubt concerning the authenticity of the Screwjob, questioning whether it was indeed a scripted ending.

Below are some noteworthy excerpts from their conversation:

When discussing the possibility of the Montreal Screwjob being staged, Nash remarked, “I don’t think any of us are 100% sure that it wasn’t…that it’s not a work.”

In response to Sean Oliver’s proposition of rearranging the booking to feature Bret Hart opposite The Undertaker, Nash pointed out, “Yeah, but you have to understand, that’s a strategy to bypass Bret, not booking ‘Taker…if you’re collaborating creatively with someone else, and you look into the locker room and ask, ‘Which person, particularly their character, doesn’t demand nor really complement the world title?’ ‘Taker. He’s the eerie character. ‘Taker’s just ‘Taker, man.”

Nash also shared a video discussing various ways the Montreal Screwjob could have been averted.[embedded content]
