WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash was recently a guest on his podcast “Kliq This”, where he shared some personal health revelations. It appears that Nash has been dealing with the pain of several herniated discs, discovered in a recent MRI examination.
The podcast episode had several interesting key points:
Kevin Nash vividly discussed the reality of pain he experiences: “Anyone could ask a kid of about eight who’s done a web search, ‘Is this stuff staged?’, ‘Yeah’, I reply. When they question, ‘What about the chairs’, my response is, ‘Oh yeah, that’s the most scripted part.’ They normally defend your profession then, unlike when you emulate [David] Schultz and rupture someone’s eardrum asking, ‘Does that feel staged?’”
Nash disclosed a development that caught him by surprise: “A few weeks ago, I woke up from a flight. I hadn’t exerted myself, hadn’t worked out, hadn’t done anything strenuous, yet I was suffering from sciatica. When it didn’t improve, I decided to get an MRI. The results showed I have several herniated discs. And this is clearly due to the accumulating injury from that so-called ‘staged’ stuff, where you end up landing on hard wood with a 300-pound wrestler on top.”
