On a recent episode of the “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash, inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, shared his thoughts on the comparisons between the recent turn of heel by John Cena and Hulk Hogan’s similar move in 1996 when he joined the nWo. He said,
“I consider this to be truly significant had we been unaware Cena was bound to leave in eight months. John’s commendable. However, John has a precise approach to what he does. His no tan appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber, struck a chord with me. Not just no tan, but his powdery complexion gave away to me that something was amiss. I am not sure. It’s unsettling to compare this to Hogan’s turn. In my opinion, I beg to differ. The vibe of the crowd in Toronto didn’t invoke intense animosity.”
During his headliner stint at Monopoly Events’ For The Love of Wrestling convention, Tyler Breeze, former WWE Superstar, shed light on his future plans. He revealed,
“It’s amusing because sometimes, I feel very much like I’ve retired, but then there are times when I deny it. It’s a matter of timing for certain things. I bowed out of wrestling full-time in 2021, took time off to relish life, and welcomed my first kid. I cherished my role as a father and a spouse. However, I’ve started reconnecting with the indie scene, indicating my career is far from over. It’s a waiting game as to where you’ll see me next, but it’s just a matter of time.”
WWE RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, announced via Twitter that Cody Rhodes, Undisputed WWE Champion, will be the guest on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW being broadcast on Netflix. IYO SKY, the Women’s Champion, will also be making an appearance on the show.
