In a recent episode of his podcast “Kliq This”, Kevin Nash, a WWE hall of fame inductee compared the composition of The Shield to his own group, the Kliq.
Nash pointed out the key difference between The Shield and The Kliq, stating that The Shield operates simply as a faction because its members did not make a blood pact. He described the Kliq, on the other hand, as feeling more like a family unit.
Some key points of the discussion from the podcast are listed below:
Discussing the differences between The Shield and The Kliq, Nash mentioned: “I can’t recall a single political action that the Kliq took backstage that was directed at propelling any kind of agenda. [The Shield] was a faction. I just don’t believe they ever made a blood covenant…I don’t think the trio has a shared goal at the moment.
When asked about the nature of conversations between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Nash speculated: “I imagine it’s something like, ‘How was your vacation?’ ‘Terrific, and yours?’ ‘Terrific. How’s your spouse? How’s your child? Is she returning?’ ‘Not sure. Don’t really need the money though.’”
