During a recent episode of “Kliq This”, a podcast hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, discussed the likelihood of Mariah May accepting a lower salary to transition from AEW to WWE NXT.

May, in her WWE journey, has adopted the pseudonym “Blake Monroe” and has the tagline “The Glamour of NXT” attached to her persona.

Below are some major takeaways from Nash’s podcast:

On the speculation of Mariah May supposedly taking a reduced salary to move to WWE for 0,000: Nash states, “She’s parting with 0,000. That’s ridiculous. No, [it’s not justifiable just because she’s working for WWE], particularly when you risk severe injuries like cervicals and you’re down by 0,000. Just to put into perspective, during my prime time, if a proposition was made to me to double my income just to put in 40 hours a week at a McDonald’s drive-thru window, my instant response would be, ‘Sure, do you want it supersized?’”

On Carlito’s departure: Nash said, “Carlito was brought back primarily for the Bad Bunny gig. That kind of blew up. The pay-per-view took place in Puerto Rico. I’m unsure about Carlito’s earnings. But the one thing I know for certain, both of them still have, they have enough fuel in their reserves. They still have the potential to put up a great show.”
