Kevin Nash, a widely recognized wrestling figure, sees Hulk Hogan, a prominent MAGA supporter and inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame, as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time.
On a recent episode of his famous “Kliq This” podcast, Nash elaborated on his understanding of the term “worker” and why he considers Hogan one of the finest. He remarked,
“I respect today’s wrestling stars’ athleticism. However, when I watch a wrestler throw punches and show their athleticism before sending off their opponent?”
Nash proceeded to add, “Work-rate doesn’t simply mean doing a series of moves. Work-rate means narrating a tale – and Hogan was a master at that… Witness his iconic face-off against The Rock in Toronto. That, to me, is the real work of a wrestler. Doing flashy moves like a Moonsault doesn’t prove your worth as a ‘worker’; it just proves that you probably spent a lot of time practicing on a trampoline.”
In another candid conversation on the “Gabby AF” podcast, Shawn Spears confessed that his move to the primary roster isn’t within his control, despite expressing contentment with his current status on the WWE NXT brand. He confessed,
“This is my final destination for now. [Gabby expresses her hope of seeing him on the primary roster]. I, however, don’t see that happening soon. It mainly relies on the decision-making authority, be it Hunter or Shawn. At the moment, I’m fulfilled and satisfied with where I am and what I’m doing. I adore it.”
Spears continued, “I find it wonderful that I have engaged with everyone currently at the top in the main roster, in some capacity or at some point in our careers. I’m still part of the system. Even though we’re all working in different parts of the organization, we’re still connected, and that’s the silver lining, which I am okay with.”
