In a recent discussion with NJPW, professional wrestler Kenny Omega shared his thoughts on being diagnosed with diverticulitis, referring to it as a “blessing in disguise.” Omega found himself in the hospital in December due to this condition.
Highlights of the interview include the following:
Discussing his face-off with Okada: Omega admitted, “I perceived him as a beast, and to be honest, I was terrified. I couldn’t confront this man as the Kenny Omega I was then. By the Young Bucks sidelining me and giving me a chance to regroup and concentrate on rebuilding myself as the wrestler I know I can be, I feel like all the ghosts of my past have returned with me to this state.”
On capitalizing on his recovery period to rediscover himself: “Despite my illness setting me back nearly a year, it’s arguably a blessing in disguise. It offers a fresh perspective and prompts you to prioritize what needs prioritizing. When I make my comeback, I believe I’ll do it with a clear mindset, potentially reclaiming my top-flight performer status.”
Rappers Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA recently composed a theme song for The Hurt Syndicate
While on Rosenberg Radio, Gunn revealed that he’d recorded a group theme. He stated,
“We have the theme music,” Westside explained. Smoke DZA then elaborated, “We have Bobby Lashley. We have the Hurt Syndicate.”
Westside supplemented, “They transitioned from Hurt Business to Hurt Syndicate, and we’re behind the official theme music for the Hurt Syndicate.”
