Kenny Omega Retains AAA Mega Championship At TripleMania XXVIII

All Elite Wrestling Champion Kenny Omega’s busy night saw him appear on IMPACT’s Final Resolution in a pre-taped segment and defend his AAA Mega Championship at the Mexican promotion’s TripleMania XXVIII event.

Omega’s opponent was AAA mainstay Laredo Kid, who is currently the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. While the luchador put up a valiant effort, Omega was able to retain his belt after some interference from Michael Nakazawa and hitting an elevated One Winged Angel. Omega won the Mega Championship at Héroes Inmortales XIII last year and this marks his fourth successful title defense.
