Kenny Omega, who earlier this year underwent a surgical procedure for diverticulitis, is reportedly in the stages of recovery and working towards re-attaining his fitness for his much-awaited comeback in the high-stakes wrestling ring.
Recently, Omega embarked on his training journey with none other than his Golden Lovers companion, Kota Ibushi. It’s clear that both wrestling sportsmen are enthusiastically preparing themselves to mark their eagerly awaited return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
In a recent Instagram update, Ibushi shared a picture with Omega and captioned in translation, “Last practice is over!!! We haven’t seen each other quite a bit, but this time we’ve got a hard push. Tuned up for AEW which will be soon. I still have a long time to fulfill my promises! The scenery sure has changed All that’s left is to do! We’re both on fire!!️Thank you for your flexible contract even though you belong. Well, there are some things I’ve done, but basically when I’m in Japan, it’s good.”
Darby Allin, while featuring in the recent “Busted Open Radio” podcast, expressed gratitude towards Cody Rhodes, the previous EVP for scouting him into AEW back in 2019. According to Darby: “I hear this company, AEW, [is] starting. I heard the words ‘creative freedom.’ “I was like, ‘If I have any ounce of making it in this whole world, I need to just be there.’ I felt it. I knew it, and then thank god for Cody [Rhodes] for seeing it. He got me through the door and I just kicked the door down. It was very surreal because AEW has given me everything. I had my dad retire from his crappy job because of AEW and now he’s my personal assistant. I can do so much stuff for my family and friends.”
In the latest episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City, the guest appearance was made by The Beast Mortos.
Off the wrestling ring, Adam Cole delighted his fans by playing popular 1990s video games in his newest gaming vlog.
Additionally, some highlights from the recent episode of AEW’s Collision: Grand Slam are now available.
