In a recent chat with Adi Shankar, AEW International champion, Kenny Omega recalled a humorous encounter with Keanu Reeves. During their meeting, Omega humorously proposed a place for the Hollywood actor in the Bullet Club.

About his encounter with Keanu Reeves: “Reeves came straight to us and asked, ‘Hey, all of you are sporting matching tracksuits. Are you guys from some sports team?’ I replied, ‘No, we are part of a wrestling organization and have just concluded our tour.’ He inquired, ‘How significant is wrestling there?’ I told him it’s part of the culture and is quite popular.’ He wore a fascinated expresssion and asked to join us to chat about it and of course, we were happy to oblige.”
On discussing with Keanu Reeves about Man of Tai Chi: “I expressed how amazing I found Man of Tai Chi, the movie that I had watched just prior to departing for the airport. To my surprise, he was taken back when I told him how much I loved the movie, as it was the first time someone had expressed that to him. We shared a hearty laugh as we posed for a picture where I jokingly asked him to enact as if he was joining the Bullet Club. He was very generous and agreed to play along. Although it was carried out in jest, given his nature, he might have even agreed if it were a serious proposition.”
