Kenny Omega & Hangman Page Retain Against Best Friends, Face Private Party Next Week

The AEW Tag Team Championships were on the line as “Hangman” Page and Kenny Omega faced off against the Best Friends.

It was a hard-hitting affair with each team trying to outmuscle the other early on. Ultimately, it was the champions that had the advantage until the Best Friends managed to fight back into the match. Page would hit a huge lariat on Trent and then tagged in Omega, who hit a missile dropkick and got a near fall with a fisherman buster.

The end almost came after Last Call was avoided and Best Friends hit Strong Zero, but Omega was able to break up the pin. After a few exchanges, Page was able to hit a Dead Eye for a two count and then hit a Buckshot Lariat for the win.

The duo will defend the belts again next week against Private Party.
