Kenny Omega and Seth Rollins may be in different companies, but that doesn’t mean AEW’s EVP doesn’t want to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

On a recent Twitch stream, Omega was asked who he’d like to face outside AEW and set his sights on the Monday Night RAW Superstar. He said,

“Seth [Seth Rollins] would be a great guy to wrestle with. Kenoh [as well.] Kenoh is a shame because that was penciled for an event. I guess I’ll just say it. The Kenoh match could have actually happened. It’s my fault I’m sick right now. It would have happened a couple of days ago, actually. He’s a great wrestler.”

Omega hasn’t competed since late 2023 and was recently kicked out of The Elite with the Young Bucks replacing him with Kazuchika Okada.

Seth Rollins recently returned from injury. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to wrestle twice at WWE WrestleMania 40 next month.

In a surprising turn of events, Kenny Omega, the Executive Vice President of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has expressed his desire to face off against Seth Rollins, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Despite belonging to different wrestling companies, Omega revealed his admiration for Rollins during a recent Twitch stream.

When asked about potential opponents outside of AEW, Omega wasted no time in mentioning Rollins as someone he would love to wrestle with. He also mentioned Kenoh, another talented wrestler, who unfortunately had to cancel their scheduled match due to Omega falling ill. Omega took full responsibility for the missed opportunity and expressed his regret for not being able to compete against Kenoh.

Omega’s statement comes at a time when he has been absent from the wrestling scene since late 2023. Additionally, he was recently ousted from The Elite, a popular wrestling faction, with the Young Bucks replacing him with Kazuchika Okada. This revelation adds an interesting layer to Omega’s desire to face Rollins, as it could potentially serve as a way for him to prove himself and regain his standing in the wrestling world.

On the other hand, Seth Rollins has recently made a triumphant return from injury. As the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Rollins is scheduled to wrestle twice at WWE WrestleMania 40 next month. His return has been highly anticipated by fans, and his inclusion in Omega’s list of desired opponents only adds to the excitement surrounding his upcoming matches.

The idea of a crossover match between Omega and Rollins is undoubtedly intriguing for wrestling enthusiasts. It would not only showcase the talent and skills of both wrestlers but also bridge the gap between AEW and WWE, two major players in the wrestling industry. Such a match could potentially create a buzz among fans and generate significant interest in both promotions.

While the possibility of Omega and Rollins facing each other remains uncertain, their mutual respect and desire to compete against one another have undoubtedly piqued the curiosity of wrestling fans worldwide. Whether this dream match becomes a reality or not, the fact that wrestlers from different companies are expressing their interest in crossing paths speaks volumes about the ever-evolving landscape of professional wrestling.

As fans eagerly await the outcome of Omega’s return to the ring and Rollins’ upcoming WrestleMania matches, the potential clash between these two talented athletes remains a tantalizing prospect. Only time will tell if their paths will eventually cross, but one thing is for certain – the wrestling world is buzzing with anticipation.
