Speaking to “Inside Fighting,” Shamrock spoke about the recent merger of WWE & UFC into TKO Group Holdings. He said,

“I made the crossover before anybody. And I saw an opportunity, and I thought it would be something that would be a great opportunity to be able to bring those two worlds together. And unfortunately, nobody’s gonna say a word about that. You know? Because it’s all ‘their idea.’

“But I saw it way early on when I went into pro wrestling. I thought this would be a great opportunity to cross over because a lot of this stuff kind of goes hand in hand.”

Shamrock would capture the Intercontinental Championship, World Tag Team Championships, and 1998 King of the Ring crown before his exit from the WWF in 1999.

In a recent interview with “Inside Fighting,” Shamrock discussed the merger of WWE and UFC into TKO Group Holdings. He expressed his disappointment that his role in bridging the gap between the two worlds has not been acknowledged. Shamrock stated, “I made the crossover before anybody. And I saw an opportunity, and I thought it would be something that would be a great opportunity to be able to bring those two worlds together. And unfortunately, nobody’s gonna say a word about that.
