In a recent interview on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Kelani Jordan, the reigning WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion, discussed various topics. These included the current WWE NXT-TNA Wrestling crossover, the wrestlers she finds inspirational for her studies, among other things.
Here are a few key points from the podcast:
Regarding the wrestlers that inspire her, she said, “On YouTube, I usually peruse older videos of Joshi wrestlers and study footage from STARDOM to glean different styles. Their intensity level is much higher so it’s quite informative for me. I’ve also checked out TNA and obviously our main roster shows.”
When asked about her opinion on the TNA and WWE NXT collaboration, she said, “I’m a fan of the crossover. It opens doors for many wrestlers and offers more opportunities. Everyone involved seems to be pleased and enjoying the process. When we had Joe Hendry over, the excitement was palpable – everyone was delighted to see him again.”
