A lot of important anniversaries have taken place so far this month when it comes to the history of professional wrestling. One of the more recent ones happened just a year ago when NXT North American Champion Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at the Great American Bash.

Unfortunately, the reign was short-lived as Lee was called up to the main roster and dropped the title to Karrion Kross on his way to WWE RAW, which he appeared on the night after SummerSlam.

Keith Lee took to social media this afternoon to reflect upon this moment and shared a heartfelt message with the WWE Universe asking them not to quit on him because there is no quit in him:

“Many of you are reminding me of this day a year ago. So much has happened since then, it feels so long ago. Patience my friends….there is zero quit IN me. So don’t you quit ON me. I miss you. And I love you,” Keith Lee tweeted.

Keith Lee hasn’t appeared on WWE RAW since February, and it has been reported that he isn’t medically cleared to compete. The nature of what’s keeping Lee on the sideline at the moment is currently a mystery, but Lee’s words of encouragement continue to keep fans hoping they’ll see him return sometime in the near future.
