The current NXT North American champion, Keith Lee describes a lack of initial adrenaline due to WWE events not having an audience currently.

For a man that typically likes to have everyone around him basking in his glory, the most recent set of WWE shows has been difficult for Keith Lee. Speaking with GameSpot, Lee spoke candidly about how not having an audience affects the performers and his process of powering through the inconvenient circumstances.

“[This is] something that I’ve actually talked about with so many of my other athletic friends and associates–just there’s a bit of a void when it comes to not having the crowd for that initial level of adrenaline,” Lee explained. “So not having them there takes away a little bit of electricity. It makes it slightly difficult and a little different [of an] experience. So there’s that lack of adrenaline. Things often hurt even more than usual because I don’t have such a wide array of people kind of uplifting me. I tried to explain to fans how much they mean to me, but I don’t know if it gets across.”

There may be some good news for Keith as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said he would like to see some form of a live crowd back at WWE events by mid-summer 2020. Learn more at this link.
