Keith Lee Becomes No. 1 Contender For NXT North American Title

Keith Lee’s star in the NXT has risen to extreme levels in 2019, and in his first showing of the new year, he cemented his spot as the number one contender for the NXT North American Championship. In a match against Damian Priest, Cameron Grimes, and Dominik Dijakovic, Lee was able to once again use his exceptional strength and athleticism to come away with the victory. Now, he’ll get a shot at the NXT North American Championship in two weeks, on the January 22 episode of NXT.

Grimes German suplexes Dijakovic for a near fall. Priest rannas Grimes off the top but Lee catches him in midair. Dijakovic yanks Grimes aways from Lee and lands Feast Your Eyes. Lee pounces Dijakovic out of the ring. Priest drops Lee with his finish. Dijakovic breaks it up with a running big boot. Lee chokeslams Dijakovic and Priest at the same time. Lee sets up a dive but Grimes hits the collision course out of nowhere. Lee kicks out. Triangle moonsault by Grimes. Grimes destroys Dijakovic with the Cave In out on the apron. Grimes tries a diving double stomp but Lee moves and hits grizzly magnum. Lee hits the Spirit Bomb for the win.
