In a recent conversation with Josh Martinez, KC Navarro shed light on an encounter with Roman Reigns during his teenage years.
Navarro shared about his experience meeting Reigns at the age of 16, recognizing that a match with him would significantly enhance his professional wrestling career.
During his time as a TNA wrestler, he shared, “I would love for it to happen one day. I don’t think it’ll be tomorrow, but I think one day I’d love to go against Roman Reigns. That’s my guy.”
Explaining further, he stated, “That’s the one guy that I feel like for me to have my story finished, cause he was the guy that inspired me as a kid, he sat me down and stopped this whole meet and greet for five minutes in Brooklyn to speak to me and motivate me. I feel like it has to be Roman Reigns.”
Tyler Breeze’s wrestling career has slowed over the past years but his list of desired opponents including The Hardys, Ricky Saints, and more underlines his continued interest in the sport.
Recently on the “Gabby AF” podcast, Breeze was questioned about his ideal wrestling opponents. The ex-WWE star responded, “I think there’s a lot…I think it would be great to partner with Dango [JDC] in TNA and wrestle The Hardys. I’ve been in WWE with Jeff and Matt, but I’ve never wrestled them, so I think a tag with Dango against The Hardys would be cool. I think working with someone like Joe Hendry would be sensational.”
Breeze added, “There are other exciting prospects, like the newly crowned Ricky Saints. A match with Dalton Castle, widely speculated for a long time, would be cool. I’ve always found Orange Cassidy interesting. I would love to work with my good friends [Adam] Cole and Swiss [Claudio Castagnoli] again. A rematch with Pac would be great as well. I’ve had several matches with Neville, and they were always exciting. There’s a lot on my list.”
