Kazuchika Okada Reveals Why He Isn’t Sure About Wrestling CM Punk

Kazuchika Okada vs. Bryan Danielson in a singles match will take place at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated to promote the bout, Okada was asked about a potential match against CM Punk. He joked that he may not do it because he’s friends with The Young Bucks, who have a history with Punk dating back to the All Out 2022 brawl.

“I’m not sure—The Young Bucks are kind of friends of mine,” Okada said with a laugh. “But if fans want to see the match, I want to do it. In Chicago.”
