On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the former New Japan Pro Wrestling star came out as Eddie Kingston was being attacked by The Young Bucks. Prior to Kingston coming out to the ringside area, the EVPs announced that Adam Page has been “suspended” from The Elite for assaulting the referee at Revolution 2024. Additionally, Kenny Omega has been fired from the faction.

As Kingston was being attacked, Okada came down to signify that he was going to make the save for Eddie. Instead, he turned on the AEW Continental Crown Champion and hit him with a Rainmaker. Nick Jackson then announced that Okada was the newest member of The Elite.
