Former WWE personality, Kayla Braxton, née Becker, revealed in a recent interaction with “The Ring Generals” that she had proposed to join forces with wrestling superstar Zelina Vega for the 40th edition of WrestleMania. Braxton, who had been associated with WWE since 2016, exited the company back in June this year.
In her discussion with “The Ring Generals”, Braxton shared, “Aside from the Paul Heyman matter, there’s not much else. If you noticed, I was the only interviewer generally featured in Bloodline related interviews unless it was on Raw and I wasn’t present. They insisted on making that my exclusive space. Bayley and I, and even Zelina, would often joke about it because of our apparent long-standing feud on the internet, leading to people actually believing we despise each other. We would typically initiate a frustrating cat fight whenever we were near newcomers in the changing room just to discomfort them. Towards the end of last year around WrestleMania, I proposed a storyline involving me and Zelina, but unexpectedly it didn’t materialize. They did assure me that I’m always welcomed back. Who knows, maybe I will make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble.”
During WrestleMania 40, the fans witnessed Zelina Vega supporting Andrade and Rey Mysterio, appearing as the ‘good guys’, as they overcame Santos Escobar and the renegade Dominik Mysterio in a tag team face-off.
