Missa Kate, in her latest Twitter posts, announced her split from the NWA, revealing her status as a free agent now.
In Kate’s words, “The Last Two Years Have Been Memorable…I Could Go On Listing All Those Who Have Positively Influenced Me And Helped Me Improvise, But That’s Quite A Task That I Prefer Not Doing At The Moment ….[& You Know Who You Are]. I’m Not Going To Make This A Long Emotional Post, Rather, I’ll Just Convey This…I’m Grateful For The Numerous Moments, Memories & Lessons I’ve Gathered Over Time. Thank You @nwa…Let’s Now Embrace The Unconventional.”
TNA Wrestling’s interest in signing Kate was reported by Fightful Select. Sources indicate her exit from the NWA was friendly, and she last performed for the company in January.
Kate also has experience working with AEW during the Dark and Dark: Elevation periods.

Following Missa Kate’s announcement, NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Alonzo also made a Twitter post to declare his departure from the company, hence the second player to announce such news.
Alonzo posted, “From Today Onwards, I am no more “Mr. NWA”… It’s been an exciting journey & I’d like to show my gratitude towards @NWA and @Billy for believing in my capabilities. But now it’s time for “Joe to concentrate on Joe””
