In a recent episode of the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Karrion Kross, one of WWE’s most recognized Superstars, shared his thoughts on his journey in WWE NXT, about being commented on by Snoop Dogg in his confrontation at WrestleMania 40, among other topics.
Key extracts from the interview have been listed below:
When the conversation turned to Snoop Dogg providing commentary at his WrestleMania 40: Karrion remembered how he only discovered that Snoop would be sharing his thoughts on his match the day before at SmackDown. He also shared about a wish list of rumored weapons that he hoped were allowed for his match. One item on his wish list: the Head from Al Snow. He spoke of wanting to use the Head on Snoop, even going as far as wanting to dive out of the ring and launch the prop to hit Snoop at the table.
Regarding rumblings of a possible return to NXT: Karrion mentioned that at times he feels the pulling desire to go back. But he also believes NXT is a platform specifically designed to mold and build new stars for the future. Karrion made it clear that he is not keen to crowd the spotlight that other emerging talents are working hard to get into.
On reflection about his NXT performance: Karrion revealed that he takes immense pride in his NXT track record, however, he doesn’t want to return full-time for the development of the fresh talent. He talked about the possibility of a one-off comeback match, different from his previous appearances, but he shot down the idea of returning to NXT indefinitely.
