Karrion Kross, a WWE professional wrestler, has recently expressed his willingness to shave his beard in the ring. However, he states that it would require a significant reasoning for him to revisit his buzz cut look.
During his time in WWE NXT, Kross had a bald style. But he’s been maintaining his hair since his comeback to WWE’s main roster in 2022.
In a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, the topic of Kross returning to his NXT bald look was brought up. He had this to say,
“I’ve considered buzzing my head, shaving my head, doing all that stuff. But we would need a story, in my opinion, that supports it. It’s a throwaway to do it for no reason.”
He elaborated further by saying, “Because what a lot of people – it’s an underlying subconscious thing – what they don’t necessarily realize is what I was doing in the show at that time was just running through people. I was showing up and just decimating everybody.”
He also noted, “So the run that I had at that time that was delegated to me for the purpose of the show, if I had had long hair at that time and I had a shaved head now, people would be like, ‘He needs to grow his hair long and do that again’.”
On shifting to shorter hair, Kross expressed, “Like if I was to just show up and shave my head, and I’ve been doing what I’ve been doing, people would feel like, ‘Oh’. I think it would become more evident, you know?”
Recently, Kross (along with his hairstyle) have been making waves on RAW, seemingly influencing other wrestling stars to betray their partners.
In the same podcast episode, Kross conveyed his feelings about Snoop Dogg providing commentary on his WrestleMania 40 match. For more information on that, click here.
