Karrion Kross Hopeful About Jon Moxley’s WWE Return, Dean Malenko Gifts WCW Title, AEW

Karrion Kross, during his recent stint on the “Battleground” podcast, talked about the potential of Jon Moxley making a comeback to WWE. Moxley has been with AEW since 2019 after parting ways with WWE and is one of the top earners in Tony Khan’s promotion. Kross expressed his desire to compete with Moxley in WWE should the latter decide to return, citing their unfinished business.

In a recent conversation on KATU News prior to AEW Summer Blockbuster, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey hyped the highly anticipated match between Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland and praised Swerve for his continuous advocacy of AEW.

Shinjiro Otani took to social media to share that he was gifted the WCW Cruiserweight Title belt by Dean Malenko that they both contended for back in 1996. Otani referred to the belt as a precious treasure that fills him with energy.

The youngest ever ROH World Television Champion, Nick Wayne, acquired the title at the tender age of 19, shattering the previous record set by Adam Cole in 2012. In an episode of the “Undisputed” podcast, Wayne expressed his honor to be mentioned in the same breath as Cole and shared his experience working with his mother on AEW TV.

Lastly, The WorkHorsemen, comprised of Anthony Henry and J.D. Drake, signaled their return to AEW after a break due to injuries. They made their triumphant return during a backstage interview on Wednesday’s AEW Summer Blockbuster special, appearing as potential opponents for Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
